Acceptance of Terms
By using Gatherlight, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Service Description
Gatherlight is a coordination tool that helps groups plan trips and gatherings. We provide the platform; you're responsible for the actual trip logistics.
User Conduct
Use Gatherlight for its intended purpose. Don't spam, don't harass, don't do anything illegal.
SMS Messaging Terms
Program Name: Gatherlight Gathering Notifications
Description: When you provide your phone number on Gatherlight, you consent to receive transactional SMS notifications related to gatherings you participate in. These messages include reminders to share your availability, vote on destinations, and confirm your attendance (RSVP). Gatherlight will never send marketing or promotional messages via SMS.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your gathering activity. You will only receive messages related to gatherings you are actively participating in. Typical usage is 1–5 messages per gathering.
Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Consult your mobile carrier for details about your text messaging plan.
Opt-Out: You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from Gatherlight. After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. You may still receive notifications via email if you have an email address on file.
Help: For help or questions about SMS messaging, reply HELP to any message from Gatherlight, or contact us at our contact page.
Supported Carriers: Gatherlight SMS notifications are supported on all major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy: Your phone number will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.

Availability
We'll do our best to keep Gatherlight running, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided "as is" during the beta period.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Gatherlight after changes means you accept the new terms.
