Acceptance of Terms
By using Gatherlight, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Service Description
Gatherlight helps groups keep traditions — recurring gatherings with a permanent page, a member list, a history, and simple RSVPs for the next occurrence. We provide the platform; you and your group are responsible for the actual gatherings.
User Conduct
Use Gatherlight for its intended purpose. Don't spam, don't harass, don't do anything illegal. Organizers are responsible for who they invite and what they post to their members.
Communications
Gatherlight sends notifications by email only: your sign-in code (when you sign in by email) and the tradition updates you choose to receive. You control which updates you get from each tradition in its notification settings, and you can turn them all off.
If you sign in with a phone number, the verification code is sent by Firebase (Google) as part of sign-in. Gatherlight does not operate an SMS marketing or notification program and does not send automated text messages.
When you invite people, your device may open your own messaging apps to share the link. Those messages are sent by you, from your device.
Availability
We'll do our best to keep Gatherlight running, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided "as is" during the beta period.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Gatherlight after changes means you accept the new terms.
